No-Bake Fruity Granola Bar
Made with Rye Flour – Naturally Sweet and Fiber-Rich Snack
Ingredients:
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1/3 cup rye flour (lightly toasted)
• 1/2 cup chopped dried figs and dates
• 1/4 cup dried blueberries or currants
• 1/3 cup roasted and chopped hazelnuts
• 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 tablespoon molasses
• 2 tablespoons peanut butter
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 small tea glass of water (for consistency)
Preparation:
1. Combine the oats, toasted rye flour, dried fruits, hazelnuts, and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the honey, molasses, peanut butter, and water. Heat the mixture slightly over low heat until it becomes smooth and homogeneous.
3. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
4. Spread the mixture evenly in a baking pan lined with parchment paper and press it down.
5. Let it rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours, then slice and serve.
Storage:
Does not contain refined sugar; has a low glycemic index.
When stored in the fridge, it stays fresh for 4-5 days.
Suitable for carrying as a snack in your bag.
